Job description
For our Sales team, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager.
Are you ready to make a real impact? In this role, you’ll take charge by generating your own leads while getting great support from our account managers, marketing initiatives, events, and your personal network. You’ll get to promote and cross-sell our cutting-edge products to a variety of end-users and play a key part in expanding our reach!
Your day-to-day will be a mix of phone calls and face-to-face visits with prospects, helping you dive deep into their needs and challenges. Together with product experts you will work out the best solution for each customer. And here's the exciting part: you’ll be working with clients across the World, so your work will have a global footprint!
Collaboration is the name of the game here. You’ll work closely with our team of sales managers, Marketing and Sales Support. Together, you’ll be empowered to deliver top-notch solutions that drive success for our clients—and for Octiva!
Job requirements
Your profile
You’re driven, determined, and passionate about what you do—especially when it comes to the greenhouse sector.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field. Proven experience in sales (bonus points if it’s in agri-tech or robotics!).
Understanding of greenhouse operations and agricultural practices is a plus.
Excellent communicator and people-person.
Motivated, result-oriented, and able to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
Confident with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Ready and excited to travel to meet clients and attend cool industry events!
Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
